The Rev. Kevin DePrinzio, OSA, PhD, Vice President for Mission and Ministry, Elected to General Council of the Order of St. Augustine
The Rev. Kevin DePrinzio, OSA, PhD, èßäÊÓÆµapp’s vice president for Mission and Ministry, has been elected to the General Council of the Order of St. Augustine, for which he will immediately begin a six-year term in Rome. Father DePrinzio will serve as assistant general for English-speaking provinces, a role appointed to him by the newly-named Prior General of the Order, the Rev. Joseph L. Farrell, OSA, STL, STD, ’85 VSB, ’19 MS.

September 3, 2025 - U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer concluded that Trump's use of thousands of federalized California National Guard members and U.S. Marines to provide protection to federal agents during an aggressive immigration crackdown in the Los Angeles area ran afoul of the Posse Comitatus Act... Brenner Fissell, èßäÊÓÆµapp law professor, said while Breyer's ruling has no immediate impact outside of California, it's certain to be the first thing other judges who may preside over similar cases will turn to.
